![]() Honestly, macro SW is probably what I am best suited for. But, I don't want to work in a micro level facing position. I like social work, I like being an advocate for those who cannot advocate for themselves, and I really want to enhance the well-being of individuals and my larger community. I don't plan on quitting my job any time soon and often I wonder if my degree was a mistake, but I don't ever come to the conclusion it was. I graduated in December and unlike many of my peers, I have not gained or sought employment in the field due to the abysmal pay to be quite honest. I do not currently work in the field or in any realm even closely related to SW, my day job is as an in-house paralegal for the corporate office of a large cannabis company.
